ABOUT THE ARTIST

J.M. Collado

Animation and storytelling have been passions of mine since I was a child. I've been drawing and writing ever since I could hold a pencil. Storytelling is the ultimate way to give those who've never had a voice before a chance to express themselves. It's beautiful how humanity can connect so deeply through graphic storytelling. I want to be a part of that too!

I'm an animator, writer, illustrator, photographer and hobbyist musician! I specialize in storyboarding and character acting animation. My favorite animated media is The Owl House, Kiki's Delivery Service, When Marnie was There, Kid Cosmic, and Steven Universe.

I'm inspired by creators like Dana Terrace, N.D. Stevenson, and Rebecca Sugar. Studio Ghibli's films are also inspiring for the stories and atmosphere of my animated work.
